I’ve worked in the care sector for almost 20 years, previously having commercial experience in retail and transportation. I’ve held senior positions with Sunrise Senior Living, Anchor Housing and The Order Of St John Care Trust before joining Morris Care as Chief Executive from 2020 to 2023. With a portfolio of six homes around Shropshire, Telford and Cheshire, Morris Care has been providing care services since 1989. I led a team of over 600 clinicians and health professionals and focused on improving residents’ experience, digitalisation of care systems and coping with the effects of the pandemic on our homes. I am passionate about our residents living life to the full, with choice, independence and kindness at the centre of all we do.
I am originally from Cheshire and now live just over the border from Shropshire in North Staffordshire where my husband and I settled in 2002. In my spare time I enjoy theatre, play saxophone in a local band and travel. Favourite trips have included China, South America, East Africa and USA.
I look forward to working on the Board of Partners in Care and being able to help support social care in the county.
